Join Patsy for a jewellery making workshop in her studio in Conwy, North Wales (LL319TA) to try your hand at traditional silversmithing techniques including riveting, texturing, rolling and stamping metalterble clef earrings for a music lover; . After learning how to work in silver, Patsy will guide you to create your own unique piece of silver jewellery to take away with you on the day.

Patsy's workshop days are tailor-made, so you can work on a specific project or idea. These courses lessons have included diverse projects from making paw prints for a dog lover; making treble clef earrings for a music lover. 

Jewellery Making Using Cold Connections

Introduction to Cold Connection Jewellery Making

On this Course you will be able to:

Observe demonstrations and make your own jewellery in fine silver, brass or copper.

Prepare the silver for use by annealing.

Texture silver using decorative hammers and punches to create your own design. .

Use a saw to cut the silver  to shape.

Join Metals to each other by riveting.

Polish and finish the sterling silver (925)

Create appropriate findings in sterling silver to mount and assemble your completed piece.

 Children over 10 years welcome accompanied by an adult
