Silver Clay Jewellery Making North Wales Conwy

On this course you will be able to:

Observe demonstrations and make your own jewellery in fine silver.

Prepare the silver clay for use.

Roll out silver clay accurately.

Use stamps and  texture plates to create your own designs.

Cut the silver clay to shape.

Dry and prepare the clay for kiln firing.

Fire the silver clay in a kiln.

Polish and finish the fired fine silver (999)

Create appropriate findings in sterling silver to mount your completed piece.

The course fee includes the cost 20 grammes of the silver clay. This should be sufficient to create 2 pairs of earrings and a pendant.

This course is suitable for beginners

 Join Patsy for a Silver Clay Jewellery Making Workshop North Wales,  in her studio in Conwy, North Wales (LL319TA) to try your hand at a technique that rocked the jewellery world about 10 years ago. Use metal clay to from and patternsilver into shapes and designs that would only have been available to the highly trained time served jeweller, in the past.  The clay is fired and turns into fine silver (999)
 Patsy will guide you to create your own unique piece of silver jewellery to take away with you on the day.

All my classes are Private Tuition although I can work with 2 or 3 people if required Patsy's  workshop days are tailor-made, so you can work on a specific project or idea. These  lessons have included diverse projects from making a brooch from an old piece of jewellery by taking a mould; making a replacement lost earring.
